The term mc stands for master of ceremony. The primary job or the mc is to moderate the ceremony. An mc may be called for occasions like weddings, birthday parties, conferences etc. The success of any occasion depends on the mc.
 When we talk about payment for an mc ,we talk about experience and negotiating ability. An mc does not have a fixed amount of pay. It depends on the occasion, duration and customer. For example, negotiating price with a governor or an influential person differs from doin good so with an average person.
An mc can charge as much as one million naira depending on who is involved,his experience and antecedents. Though up and coming mcs can have a fixed amount of say 30k for a 2hrs occasion within the state in order not to overnegotiate or under negotiate.
  In conclusion,MCs play an integral role in occasions and as such they are priceless. Therefore paying an MC depends on negotiations, experience, antecedents and most of all your pocket.
